Want to Volunteer?

Listen. Connect. Empower

Someone once said, “No one can do everything, but everyone can do something.” Come and join Teachable Moments as a “Warrior” and look for opportunities that not only help others, but will INSPIRE YOU! This is the cornerstone of the Teachable Moments experience.

You can make a difference in someone’s life.  Be a “phone buddy”. Read mail. Assist with chores. Dine out. Attend special events. Just be a friend – Empower people impacted by vision loss. For more information about volunteering, contact Reggie Anglen, Founder, at This email address is being protected from spambots. Listen / Connect / Empower!!

All volunteers must complete a (2) hour MANDATORY orientation session. Complete and submit a written background check prior to any assignment with Teachable Moments. It is within the Founder and/or the Board’s discretion  if a potential volunteer is a good match for Teachable Moments.
